Alright, this blog post has nothing to do with a rhino. If you like rhinos and you were hoping for that- I am sorry. But while finishing this drawing I had some really worth knowing and hopefully helpful thoughts, in response of reading the book 'It's not about how good you are, it's about how good you want to be'.

So I took some pictures with a pretty old camera

A while ago I bought an analog SPR camera at the local charity shop. Not even to take pictures with if I am going to be honest.. It just looked really pretty. But then I decided to put a film in it, and just shoot some pictures with it. Not knowing if it still worked or not. Apparently it worked (dah), so I thought I'd do a blogpost about it. Just because.

The irony of painting trees on paper

Sunday is definitely my favourite day of the week. For some reason I always feel more motivated than usually and I have literally no idea why. I never painted a tree ever in my entire life and today was the kind of day I wanted to try. 

My 3am thought are my best thoughts

It is 3:00 am and I can't decide if this makes me a morning- or a night person. Well, I googled it, if I stay up till 5:00 am I'll be a morning and night person at the same time. Amazing. Alright, what I truly find amazing is how creative my brain is at this point. And creativity needs to be shared, am I right?

I wobbled around in a charity shop for 3 hours

I know I am sarcastic most of the time, but I literally spend 3 hours in the same charity shop today. How? I reunited with an old friend I've known since I was 9 and well, yes. We thought it was a great idea to cycle 30 minutes in the cold against the wind that was stronger than us. Not even gonna mention the rain. But beside that we had our own 'who-dresses-up-the-most-hipster-ish' and things like that. Aaaand I did buy some pretty nice stuff which is so worth sharing. Haaaah! 

A little bit of change

Well, hello my precious, lovely, blog. Haven't been here for ages, huh? I am not even gonna try to make up excuses cause there simply are no excuses. But I've got a reason (still nog excuse)that I stopped blogging for a while and I just wanna explain some things today. Sounds more dramatic than it is, but alrighty. Just a short blog post to let you all know I am still alive.

Artsy Sunday

Today was, or still is the kind of Sunday I love the most. Doing nothing, but at the same time feeling really productive. And I think that's the perfect way to describe today's Sunday. For some reason today made me really happy for no reason.  So happy that I feel the need to write a blog post about it. Art may or not be the reason of that happiness. And that's what I want to share with you all today, a little bit of art.
